Highlights from the Continental Classic Sale
The Continental Classic Sale held Monday, February 28 proved to be very successful for Holstein Plaza member and sale co-manager Tom Mercuro. The U.S. lots averaged $4788. The high seller of the day was Lot 1 RMW Super Aria-ET out of the #29 GTPI Cow RC-LC Goldwyn ATM. Aria is the #8 Super daughter of the Breed12/10 and was the successful purchase of Ed Morwick and Partners with Sexing Technologies as contending bidder. out of ATM.
Second high seller at $20,000 was Lot 103, a Feb. 2010 Alexander out of Misty Springs Shottle Silk.
Selling for $9200 and was the third high seller was a Goldwyn granddaughter of Durchan EX-95. Overall the Durchan lots sold very well again proving this All-American EX-95 Durham is quite the Brood Cow! A fresh VG-85-2YR Jasper out of Goldwyn Divine sold for $7600.
