Wisconsin Summer Championship Show to be rescheduled
Message from the WI Holstein Association:
The Executive Show Committee will be rescheduling the Wisconsin Summer Championship Show from July, to a date and location in late August, due to restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Executive Show Committee had a conference call on June 1 to discuss location options for rescheduling. As a three-breed show, these options are those that have the capacity for 400 to 500 head based on exhibition history.
Our goal is to make a timely decision on dates and location by July 1. The Executive Show Committee will have a meeting on June 11 to evaluate each potential grounds prior to making a decision.
Additionally, putting on a successful three-breed show at a location other than the Alliant Energy Center, will require assistance from volunteers. If you have interest in helping make the show a great experience for all, please contact Mara Budde, WHA, at marab@wisholsteins.com.

Daughter of Doorman Britt is now VG-85!
TTM Corvette Bejing-ET is now scored VG-85 VG-MS! Bejing is bred and owned by Holstein Plaza member, Mercuro Farms. She is direct from Jacobs Doorman Britt-ET (EX-92 MAX). Britt was the winner of the 2019 MD Holstein Futurity and is a daughter of EX-96. Goldwyn Brittany. Congratulations to Mercuro Farms!
Homebred Harmony Scored EX-95 3E
Oakfield Corners Dairy now has their first home bred committee cow! Oakfield Reality Harmony is now scored EX-95 3E at 10 years and 1 month old. She freshened in Febuary in her 7th lactation. Harmony has produced over 187,000 lbs of milk, over 7,200 lbs of fat (3.9%), and over 5,700 lbs of protein (3.1%). She is projected to be over 200,000 lbs lifetime by this fall. Congratulations to Oakfield Corners!
